Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to city residents and visitors via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Assist with the processing of daily government documents and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
- Collaborate with city departments to ensure smooth operational workflows and compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor daily operations and report any discrepancies or safety hazards immediately.
- Conduct research on city policies and procedures to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and present routine reports to supervisors and city officials.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with government standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Public Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a government or customer service environment is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Valid Kansas driverβs license may be required for some roles.
