Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along an established route efficiently
- Sort and sequence mail according to delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route records
- Provide exceptional customer service to residential and business customers
- Report delivery issues and maintain equipment in proper condition
- Adhere to USPS safety policies and procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license (required for vehicle operation)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for route tracking systems
