Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person, via phone, and through digital channels with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Process vehicle registrations, driver's license renewals, title transfers, and personalized plate applications accurately.
- Explain complex DMV policies and procedures to customers in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
- Utilize computer systems to input customer data, verify documents, and update records with high attention to detail.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while maintaining strict accountability.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalated issues calmly and effectively to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all state safety and compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflows and improve service delivery during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or administrative support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid driverβs license is preferred but not always required.
