Responsibilities
- Process driver's license renewals, vehicle registrations, and title transfers using provided digital systems
- Assist customers with DMV forms, documentation requirements, and payment processing
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding traffic citations, vehicle inspections, and licensing procedures
- Maintain accurate records in the DMV database following state regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours
- Conduct preliminary eligibility checks for commercial driver's licenses
- Utilize provided equipment (scanner, printer, verification tools) for document processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in high-volume environments
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn proprietary DMV software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy periods
- Valid New Mexico driver's license at time of hire
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
