Responsibilities
- Operate screening equipment, including X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors, to identify prohibited items.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and screenings of passengers and carry-on baggage in accordance with established security protocols.
- Interact professionally and courteously with passengers, providing clear instructions and assistance during the screening process.
- Enforce security regulations and take appropriate action when security threats are detected.
- Document screening activities accurately and maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of security professionals to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a criminal history records check.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a medical examination.
- Drug Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
