Responsibilities
- Coordinate federal disaster response operations during declared emergencies
- Develop and implement community preparedness programs for natural disasters
- Analyze risk assessments and create mitigation strategies for coastal regions
- Manage grant programs for local emergency infrastructure improvements
- Lead interagency task forces with state/local partners and NGOs
- Conduct post-disaster evaluations and recovery planning

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of disaster response coordination experience
- Federal Emergency Management Institute (FEMA) Professional Development Series (PDS) certification
- Knowledge of National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS)

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
