Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records systems.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Greet visitors and provide general information regarding City services and policies.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute internal memos, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in the processing of applications and document verification for various city programs.
- Operate office machinery such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and departmental goals are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous office or customer service experience is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
