Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry with high accuracy.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, and distribution of reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in both physical and digital filing systems.
- Support department heads with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens visiting or contacting the department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior government experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
