Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations, including data entry, document filing, and record management.
- Answer and screen incoming telephone calls, responding to inquiries or routing them to the appropriate department.
- Prepare, compose, and edit official correspondence, memorandums, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the coordination of office logistics, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Support senior staff with special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; an Associate’s degree or college coursework is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet federal security requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer navigation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and the public.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Federal Background Investigation (FBI Fingerprint) clearance.
