Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and documentation with precision and attention to detail
- Manage digital filing systems and maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate internal communications and schedule meetings for department leadership
- Assist in preparing reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
- Respond to inquiries from veterans, families, and internal stakeholders
- Support administrative processes including travel arrangements and procurement requests
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve service delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal background clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of federal record-keeping procedures
