Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document management to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and constituents, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize files, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with state regulations and privacy standards.
- Communication: Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and reports under the guidance of senior staff.
- Office Operations: Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and managing office supplies to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, previous clerical or customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
