Responsibilities
- General Office Administration: Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing mail distribution.
- Data Entry & Records Management: Accurately input and maintain sensitive federal records in compliance with established protocols.
- Document Processing: Review, sort, and file documents to ensure proper organization and accessibility for the team.
- Communication Support: Draft and edit correspondence, emails, and reports as directed by supervisors.
- Meeting Coordination: Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Compliance Assistance: Support the department in adhering to federal guidelines and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior federal experience required. Basic office or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Basic computer literacy is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
