Responsibilities
- Perform routine clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents to support agency operations.
- Answer high-volume phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate personnel or take detailed messages.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic filing systems to ensure data is easily retrievable.
- Prepare travel arrangements and expense reports for staff members as directed.
- Monitor and distribute incoming mail and packages in a timely manner.
- Assist in data entry tasks to update our internal databases and tracking systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior federal or professional work experience is required; we value attitude and aptitude over experience.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
