Responsibilities
- Process veterans' benefits claims and documentation with precision
- Assist veterans and their families with benefit inquiries via phone and in-person
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate with multiple VA departments to resolve complex cases
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling, data entry, and correspondence
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates and procedural changes
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for veteran services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- U.S. citizenship required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (if travel between sites required)
