Responsibilities
- Assist in the intake, sorting, and processing of incoming mail and federal applications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and physical filing systems in strict compliance with federal standards.
- Perform routine data entry tasks and update internal databases with a high degree of precision.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel professionally.
- Prepare and distribute routine correspondence, memorandums, and reports.
- Support the office manager with scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Ensure strict adherence to agency policies, regulations, and security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a federal background investigation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of office procedures and administrative functions.
