Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on federal policies, regulations, and operational trends to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate written reports, briefings, and memos for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Assist in the collection, organization, and management of confidential data in compliance with federal security standards.
- Monitor compliance requirements and recommend adjustments to ensure agency adherence to all federal guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes affecting the region.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for federal employment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Computer Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government databases.
