Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate digital and physical records for federal programs.
- Communication: Receive and screen incoming calls and visitors, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff members professionally.
- Document Management: Draft, proofread, and distribute memos, reports, and official correspondence in compliance with federal guidelines.
- Office Operations: Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure the workspace remains organized and efficient for high-volume operations.
- Assistance: Support senior staff with research tasks, scheduling meetings, and preparing briefing materials for federal inspections.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic typing skills (35+ WPM).
- Background: Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
