Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry with high accuracy.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries to the appropriate personnel or take detailed messages.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to various departments.
- Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems to ensure information is easily retrievable.
- Assist in preparing reports, memos, and correspondence using standard office software.
- Support the administrative team with scheduling and meeting preparations.
- Adhere to all federal privacy regulations and agency protocols regarding document handling.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for federal employment.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
