Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Data Management: Process incoming mail, organize documents, and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for federal records.
- Customer Service: Assist constituents and employees with inquiries regarding agency programs, policies, and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Update databases and spreadsheets with new information, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Office Coordination: Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas, and arrange travel logistics for federal staff members.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. Citizenship (Federal hiring requirement).
- Background Check: Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and security clearance process.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
