Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of government records, from creation to archiving and disposal.
- Digitize physical documents and ensure data integrity in our digital databases.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal retention schedules.
- Assist in the implementation of new records management software and systems.
- Train junior staff on proper filing protocols and data privacy standards.
- Maintain a secure and organized filing system to facilitate quick information retrieval.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support or records management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and government document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
