Responsibilities
- Constituent Services: Assist the public with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring high-quality customer service and accurate record-keeping.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, scheduling meetings, and maintaining organized digital and physical archives.
- Process Management: Review and process incoming documents, permits, and applications for compliance with city ordinances and regulations.
- Communication: Draft and distribute memos, reports, and internal correspondence to ensure efficient inter-departmental communication.
- Event Coordination: Support the coordination of city-sponsored community events and civic engagement activities.
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring departmental compliance with safety protocols and procedural updates.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
