Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports using government databases.
- Assist senior staff with scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Review and process incoming mail and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Support the daily operations of the office to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid California driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
