Responsibilities
- Receive, screen, and route incoming mail and communications to appropriate department staff.
- Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the correct personnel or department.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and departmental reports.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide accurate information regarding city services and procedures.
- Support senior staff with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain and update departmental databases and records with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Internet).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
