Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to ensure efficient communication flow.
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry into government databases.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist the public with basic information requests and form inquiries.
- Maintain and organize office records and files in accordance with established retention policies.
- Support senior staff with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid Nevada Driver's License (for some specific departments) may be required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
