Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for departmental records.
- Process incoming applications, requests for information, and permits with high accuracy.
- Assist the public via phone, email, and walk-in services with inquiries regarding city policies and procedures.
- Perform data entry and basic data analysis using government-standard software (e.g., CityNet).
- Prepare and distribute routine correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
- Support senior staff with special projects and administrative logistics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
