Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for county records.
- Greet visitors and answer incoming calls, providing information and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Process incoming mail, distribute correspondence, and prepare outgoing documents with precision.
- Assist the public with filling out forms and explain departmental policies and procedures.
- Support administrative staff with scheduling, inventory management, and supply organization.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35 words per minute.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID are required.
