Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist the public with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases using government software.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute reports and correspondence as directed by supervisors.
- Support the department in organizing and scheduling meetings and events.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and office efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in an office setting or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
