Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties including answering multi-line phones, greeting visitors, and managing incoming correspondence.
- Assist in data entry and filing of government records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and distribute internal memos, reports, and documents as directed by supervisors.
- Support the administrative staff with scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing calendars.
- Ensure strict compliance with agency policies, federal regulations, and security protocols.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist with special projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. Government employment (must pass background check).
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and staff.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and security clearance process.
- Reliable transportation is recommended for commuting in the DC metro area.
