Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing, verification, and filing of federal and state applications and documents.
- Conduct research on public policies, regulations, and procedural guidelines to support agency decision-making.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in digital and physical filing systems.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence for management review and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Attend training sessions and seminars to stay updated on changing government regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to obtain U.S. Citizenship (for Federal roles).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance verification.
- Must be willing to undergo formal government onboarding training.
