Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Assist in processing applications, permits, and city service requests.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Manage office inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Support senior staff with scheduling, filing, and general administrative duties.
- Interact with the public to answer questions and provide information regarding agency services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
