Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, citizens, and staff with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and copying documents.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate departments or take detailed messages.
- Maintain accurate records and databases in accordance with city policies and regulations.
- Assist in preparing correspondence, reports, and meeting materials.
- Handle inquiries regarding city services and direct them to the correct resources.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Strong desire to work in a government/public service environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (20 WPM+).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
