Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify potential grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Compose compelling grant proposals and narratives that align with funder requirements.
- Collaborate with program managers to gather necessary data and success stories for funding requests.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of all applications, deadlines, and donor correspondence.
- Assist in the editing and proofreading of internal documents and reports.
- Monitor and report on the status of submitted applications to the program team.
- Assist in the preparation of fundraising materials and newsletters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong interest in the non-profit sector.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools quickly.
