Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and secure funding opportunities from federal, state, corporate, and private foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals, reports, and program narratives aligned with funders' priorities
- Collaborate with program directors to gather data and create impact-focused case statements
- Manage grant application pipeline with meticulous attention to deadlines and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners
- Analyze funding trends and prepare quarterly grant acquisition reports for leadership
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and proposal development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of proven grant writing experience with $500k+ annual funding acquisition
- Portfolio demonstrating success with federal, state, and foundation applications
- Expertise in budget development and grant compliance reporting
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and grant management software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to track funding metrics and ROI
