Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems for government staff.
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, peripherals, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform data entry, analysis, and record-keeping to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with state regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets and inventory to maintain up-to-date databases.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software solutions and improve workflow efficiency.
- Respond to help desk tickets and user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not mandatory for all roles).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced government environment and adapt to changing priorities.
