Responsibilities
- Assist members with pension plan inquiries, benefit calculations, and eligibility verification processes.
- Process and review new pension applications and status updates with high accuracy and strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Conduct research on retirement plan provisions and provide clear, professional guidance to participants and beneficiaries.
- Maintain accurate records in our secure database systems and assist with data reconciliation.
- Collaborate with internal compliance teams to ensure all pension regulations and state laws are upheld.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on changes in federal and state retirement legislation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with absolute discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with a diverse member base.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn specialized government software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A valid Oklahoma driver's license is preferred for occasional travel to state facilities.
