Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications using state-of-the-art retirement systems
- Calculate retirement benefits using complex actuarial formulas and contribution records
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Maintain compliance with IRS regulations and Tennessee pension statutes
- Prepare quarterly reports for the State Retirement Systems Board
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee contribution tracking
- Assist in annual audits by documenting processes and reconciling accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
