Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing and verification of pension benefit applications and claims.
- Update and maintain accurate member records within the TRS database.
- Perform routine data reconciliation and error checking to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with retirees and employers regarding plan eligibility and inquiries.
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with the actuarial team to analyze pension data trends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial data.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
