Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of retirement applications and benefit calculations for public sector employees.
- Respond to member inquiries regarding pension eligibility, vesting, and retirement options.
- Review and verify data accuracy within member records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline administrative workflows and improve member services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data privacy standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in numerical data.
- Proficient in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
