As an Entry Level Analyst, you will work closely with departmental leadership to support critical state initiatives. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to making a difference in the lives of Massachusetts residents.
Responsibilities
- Office Administration: Manage daily correspondence, file documents, and maintain organized digital and physical records for state agencies.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Input and verify data into state databases; assist in preparing monthly reports and statistical summaries.
- Constituent Services: Respond to inquiries from the public via phone, email, and in-person visits with professionalism and accuracy.
- Project Support: Assist senior staff with special projects, including research, drafting memos, and scheduling meetings.
- Compliance Assistance: Help ensure that departmental procedures comply with state and federal regulations.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare materials for weekly departmental briefings and inter-agency coordination calls.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior government experience required; entry-level candidates welcome.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Integrity: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for security clearance.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
