Responsibilities
- Assist visitors and citizens with inquiries regarding state policies, licensing, and regulations.
- Process and file a high volume of administrative documents, applications, and records accurately and confidentially.
- Operate office equipment, including scanners, printers, and multi-line telephone systems.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain official state databases.
- Collaborate with senior staff to support daily office operations and special projects.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college coursework in Business Administration or Public Service is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer navigation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
