About the Role:
As an entry-level clerk, you will be the first point of contact for many of our constituents. You will handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate records in state databases and filing systems.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding permits, licenses, and state programs via phone and in-person.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sort, distribute, and prepare incoming mail and correspondence.
- Prepare and compile reports and documents for department heads.
- Support the team with various administrative duties, including scheduling and meeting coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
