Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site compliance inspections and environmental audits
- Analyze environmental data and prepare regulatory reports
- Develop compliance guidance for regulated entities
- Coordinate with federal and local environmental agencies
- Investigate environmental complaints and violations
- Train staff and stakeholders on regulatory requirements
- Manage environmental permit applications and renewals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 3+ years regulatory compliance experience
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of EPA and NMED regulations
