Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive pollution prevention strategies for Bay Area businesses
- Conduct environmental compliance audits and regulatory inspections
- Lead cross-agency sustainability projects with local government partners
- Analyze environmental data to inform policy recommendations
- Train stakeholders on environmental regulations and best practices
- Manage grant programs for green infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of environmental compliance experience
- California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) certification required
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with environmental GIS mapping systems
- Knowledge of Bay Area environmental regulations
