Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive compliance inspections of industrial facilities and waste management sites
- Analyze environmental data to identify violations and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs for regulated industries
- Prepare detailed technical reports and enforcement documentation
- Coordinate with federal EPA and local agencies on multi-jurisdictional projects
- Provide regulatory guidance to businesses and community stakeholders
- Train staff on emerging environmental technologies and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of regulatory compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, and Clean Air Act regulations
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis
- Excellent written communication skills for technical reporting
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel 25% of time for site inspections
