Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and audits to verify compliance with state/federal environmental regulations
- Investigate pollution complaints and enforce corrective actions
- Prepare detailed technical reports and enforcement documentation
- Develop and deliver environmental education programs to communities
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to implement sustainable practices
- Monitor air/water quality data using GIS and specialized software
- Represent the agency at public hearings and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years environmental compliance experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of EPA and ODEQ regulations
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 25% of time
