Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce environmental regulations for industrial facilities and public infrastructure
- Conduct field inspections and compliance audits for water quality and air pollution standards
- Lead multi-agency environmental impact assessments for major development projects
- Prepare technical reports and policy recommendations for Congressional briefings
- Coordinate emergency response actions for environmental contamination incidents

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in environmental regulation or compliance
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Federal background investigation clearance (requires US citizenship)
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis software
- Strong written communication skills for technical report writing
