Responsibilities
- Monitor industrial facilities for compliance with state and federal environmental regulations
- Conduct on-site inspections and environmental audits for air, water, and waste management
- Develop and implement pollution prevention strategies for regulated industries
- Prepare technical reports and enforcement documentation for regulatory actions
- Provide technical assistance to businesses and local governments on environmental compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response planning
- Participate in public outreach initiatives to promote environmental awareness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance or regulatory experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software (e.g., GIS, statistical tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
- Knowledge of EPA and ODEQ regulations (40 CFR, OAC Title 252)
- Ability to travel 25% of time for site inspections and meetings
