Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs for municipal operations
- Analyze environmental data to support policy recommendations and sustainability goals
- Conduct site inspections and regulatory audits for industrial and commercial facilities
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on green infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical reports and grant applications for environmental initiatives
- Educate businesses and residents on sustainable practices through community outreach
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of environmental compliance or sustainability experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Certification in Environmental Management (e.g., CEM, LEED) preferred
