Responsibilities
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to the correct departments.
- Prepare, process, and format documents, reports, and forms in strict accordance with federal regulations.
- Schedule appointments and meetings, coordinating complex calendars for senior personnel and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical) to ensure efficient data retrieval and record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of travel itineraries, vouchers, and expense reports for department personnel.
- Provide general clerical support to ensure the seamless daily operations of the office.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or certification in Office Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of general administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with the public and staff.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced federal environment.
