Responsibilities
- Manage confidential records, correspondence, and document processing in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior department staff
- Process financial transactions, reimbursements, and budget tracking using federal accounting systems
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person
- Maintain office inventory, equipment, and supply chain logistics
- Support data entry, reporting, and record management in federal databases
- Assist with onboarding, training, and compliance documentation for new hires
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience in federal/government settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of federal records management and privacy regulations (FOIA, HIPAA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
